I am the Robert who asked about the rice protein.
I checked out your site, which I think is great, I am also impressed with your work.
Although I have spent most of my life building a small empire I knew little about nutrition. Despite being active, fit and creative I also knew little about the mind and what I was doing to myself. At 58 I very nearly killed myself with seriously serious burnout. I stopped all but dead in my tracks for 6 months before I could read a complete sentence in a news paper without chronic mental and physical exhaustion. Oh yes, during that time I also lost my businesses, had to sell my house, etc. Well now I am doing my best to guide others what to do and what not to do. How to succeed without the high stress. I studied NLP, Coaching, Mentoring and much more.
Apart from being an entrepreneur I had up to burnout been a healer and travelled to many countries to visit patients who were too ill to travel. ,Yes I was burning the candle at both ends and in the middle too. The strange thing is that I never worried about what I was doing until near to burnout. As I came out of burnout I started to analyse my healing experiences and with the aid of the ancient Greek and Chinese medicine and philosophy also the latest modern medical and neurological scientific research, I began to understand that I might have been the key but it was the patients who were actually healing themselves. I do my best to explain it all in the book. (During my healing I always believed the patients were the ones doing the healing not me but I did not know how.)
It is something similar to your profession. You are showing people how they can take the responsibility to look after themselves far better.
In short I wrote a book called ‘Activating Spontaneous Healing’. It is available in e-book at Clickbank via my website http://www.asr-key.ch and paperback format by surface post.
I would like to have a link to your website so more people may get to know about your work and therefore wonder if you would like to reciprocate.
I am also in the throws of finishing a new manuscript on using the mind. The sub title is ‘A works manual for the mind.’ It starts off with simple but important information about how to use the mind effectively without the stress. I believe every parent should read this book for themselves and teach their children how to develop focused concentration to achieve practically anything they desire. Invaluable for their studies thus a good start in life. I am planning several books in this series leading up to high performance mind strategies for high performers.
If you are interested I shall be pleased to send you a copy of ‘Activating Spontaneous Healing’.
It will be great to hear from you and what you feel.
Best wishes
Robert
Hi Shawn
Thanks for your green warrior shake.
I understand what you mean by the body turning food into acid. I suffer from gout so if I make a mistake and my acidity gets too high, boy do I know all about pain and nothing much will reduce that pain until I get my acidity down again. Even with alcabase or similar acid correcting pills getting my acidity down is by no means simple. By the way I follow Dr Al Sears and other specialists on junk food, poisonous food and healthy food.
Certainly I have to have protein. Normally I have to be careful how much good protein I eat as this is the main thing that kick starts a gout attack. You mentioned at the beginning of your video on the green warrior shake about the high acidity of the food we eat. Therefore, is this Sun warrior protein vanilla low acid or is it something I should perhaps leave out of my shake.
By the way I eat raw eggs. Sounds discusting eh! Not at all you will love this. Separate the white and yolk of two bio fresh eggs. Do not break the yolks, they are high in good protien fat and will prevent the wites from wisking up. Eggs a week old is fine. whisk the white of the egg until it is thick and will stand firm. By the way make sure your wisk is absolutely free of any grease. It will prevent the white from thickening up. Add in a couple of tea spoons of raw, unprocessed sugar. (neutral acid) also contains a lot of goodies. Wisk again until it is all nice and thick and creamy. Add in the yolks and whisk again till all is well mixed. Now enjoy. Not only does it tast good it is a great way to eat eggs and get all those goodies inside that are mostly destroyed by cooking. This is about the only thing I eat with added sugar.
Best wishes

Great question about the acidity of Rice protein powders. Rice as it exists in nature is an acid forming grain. But the way that Sun Warrior is processed to first sprout and then ferment the protein extracted from the rice, will intrinsically increase the alkaline minerals found in it’s composition. I would say that it’s definitely a good choice for you. One of the important things to look into when you’re dealing with gout is the optimal functioning of your liver.
Your liver is the organ most responsible (along with your kidneys) for breaking down the proteins your consuming to make it bioavailable to your cells. Gout is “protein poisoning”, but it’s not a matter of avoiding protein, it’s a matter of strengthening the organs that process them in your body. Some things to look into are: RAW FERMENTED noni beverages or extracts, Camu Camu Berry, and enzyme therapy (particularly papain).
Thanks for sharing your strategy for having your eggs. I don’t think it’s weird at all (I used to though!). There’s actually a recipe in my book The Fat Loss Code where I give people the strategy of adding in a raw egg to their shake in an alchemically balanced elixir that tastes AMAZING. It’s really in how you stack things together to get the exact results you want, and to enjoy the process while you’re doing it. Thanks Robert.
Hi Shawn

Hello Guys, in regards to the Maca, (not in the recipe above) did you use about 1 tsp.?
One teaspoon is correct Sophia… Sometimes you can use a bit more, as long as the taste blends well. But you have to be careful with that stuff… It may make you TOO happy! (If there’s really such a thing as that
